I started with SA version 2.44 and it made a huge improvement in
the number of spam messages, but then, to get sa-learn I went to the SA
web site and got the latest stable RPM packages which are for version
2.57 and now there are very few spam messages getting through and they
are written very special to avoid SA.
There is no question that the people making money from spam are
testing their spam against a computer with SA installed. By now I
imagine they are sending out what look like normal messages but with
something to sell like porn or chemicals or such. But still very few of
these get through.
