RC3 is working great!  I have noticed a huge improvement on my production
server.  I'm the same as you are, normally I would not do this in
production, but the benefit from using 2.6 over 2.55 was enough for me to
take the plunge.

I used to receive 1 to 2 FPs a day with SA 2.55 and a 6.6 threshold, now
with 2.60 RC3 I have only had 1 FP in 6 days.  (That FP was mostly due to
SBL listing).

Read the docs and make sure you understand what's changed and you'll be
fine.

Other than upgrading, from what I've seen, its a bug in 2.55 which causes
that message to slip in.
