I have global bayes files in /usr/spamassassin/bayes*

jolan:/etc/mail/spamassassin>ls -l /usr/spamassassin/bayes*
-rw-rw-rw- 1 nobody nobody 480694 Sep 2 02:28 /usr/spamassassin/bayes_journal
-rw-rw-rw- 1 nobody nobody 4367 Sep 2 02:28
/usr/spamassassin/bayes_msgcount
-rw-rw-rw- 1 root root 1323008 Sep 2 01:38 /usr/spamassassin/bayes_seen
-rw-rw-rw- 1 nobody nobody 2666496 Sep 2 01:38 /usr/spamassassin/bayes_toks

The 'nobody' owned files were changed by cron.
It works just fine thus.
