Of course, this was rejecting one of my messages containing a spamassassin rule to try to detect obfuscated variants of the V word.

Brilliant, really.. we've got brain-dead spam filtering that rejects messages based on single body content regexes on a mailing list that's intended to discuss spam. Obviously missing yet another important lesson..

"if a mailing list is intended to contain spam messages for analysis (such as satalk/sadev) whitelist it."
