No kidding. If I hadn't been so pissed about it, I might have gotten
a chuckle out of it.

Oh, but everyone's looking for the next great spam phrase, right? :)

BTW, I've reported this incident to everyone I could even remotely
connect with the clearvisions.com domain, including avahost.net, who
supplies the dns service, ev1.net, who owns the IP address, and
tucows.com and their subsidiary domaindirect.com (the registrar for
the domain). Naturally, I also forwarded the messages to [EMAIL PROTECTED]
- thanks to those that responded with the correct address.

I don't expect the registrar to do much, since they're not legally in
a position to fight spam, but with any luck they'll give them a hard
time about not providing adequate contact information.

And, in a fit of anger after finding that there were about 6 separate
attempts to send me spam from the same domain (some of which were
blocked because they came through explicitly blacklisted relays), I
responded to the return address making it clear that they were in for
a rough ride. Maybe I shouldn't have warned them, but . . .

So what. I added their relay to my /etc/mail/access for explicit
rejection, and if I find out the name of the domain owner, they'll be
lucky to get a dialup connection if I get my way.
