here's my problem

I have auto white listing enabled which seems to be behaving as expected

e.g (/check_whitelist | grep "coffer")

     6.7 (6.7/1) -- [EMAIL PROTECTED]|ip=209.73
    53.2 (53.2/2) -- [EMAIL PROTECTED]|ip=209.11
     7.5 (7.5/2) -- [EMAIL PROTECTED]|ip=63.87
     5.3 (5.3/4) -- [EMAIL PROTECTED]|ip=66.28
     6.9 (6.9/3) -- [EMAIL PROTECTED]|ip=63.123

Yet if I cat one on the above messages into spamassassin with --add-to-blacklist

the check_whitelist command then returns

100.0 (100.0/1) -- [EMAIL PROTECTED]|ip=none

Shouldn't the spamassassin --add-to-blacklist also add the ip address in the
message headers?

Yes it should. According to your previous post you're using 2.54.. I'll check this out on my 2.55 box when I've got some free time. If it really behaves that way, it's probably a bug in the AWL code.
