the problem also probably lies in the fact that you may not be calling spamc with -u option so spamc doesnt use the prefs of that user, which defaults to vpopmail (the calling user).
hope it helps

Folks,
My apologies if someone has already dealt with this; I have poked
through the docs and skimmed quite a bit of the archives.. but I cannae
figure out:
I've got an SA2.55 install in a qmail/vpop/procmail/MySQL environment under FBSD.. which attempts (successfully) to read user_prefs from MySQL.
All that's fine and dandy but I'm having a rough time with the BAYES engine thingie. It says this to me all the day long:
debug: bayes: no dbs present, cannot scan: /usr/local/vpopmail/.spamassassin/bayes_toks
That is pain right there. I'd like to be able to set the Bayes_Path preference on a per-user basis.. or at LEAST figure out where it got that path from - there's NOTHING like that in MySQL.
I think I remember reading that someone was working on such a mod - Who'z it? Anything I can do to help motivate you this weekend?
Thanks, Folks.
