:-)
I used to get about 1 spam / week, but it's been increasing a lot the last few
months. Now I get about 2 spams/day. It would have taken me 8 months to train
Bayes, so I guess you wouldn't say I have much of a spam problem. :)

Still, I found what I got irritating enough. One time I got sick of it and
decided to send 500 reply messages to a spammer telling him how much I hate spam
(I masked my address btw). It was a hotmail account so I filled his inbox with
the first few hundred. :-) (yes, I know it's bad to do that to people... but he
started it!)

In any event, regular SA was catching nearly all of the spam I was getting, but
some was getting through. Now that I have Bayes trained with ~3000 emails (2/3
spam/ham ratio) I'm happy to see that nothing has gotten through. :)
Then again, I've only been using Bayes for a week, so I can't say anything
definitively.

But I am trying to get good care of my user_prefs and I'm taking the time to
train my Bayes.

>OT: I prefer the definition of spam=UBE.

What's UBE? I'm sure that the U stands for "Un" and the E for "Email". What's
the B for?

>From your explanation of UBE, I think I agree with you.
