Maybe,

But I think Spam has just evolved somewhat since 2.55 came out, and theres
a lot of new spam that doesn't trigger many specific tests in the current
version of SA. (It just hits ont the RBL's, DCC etc, and more generic
tests and struggles to get > 5.0)

No doubt this will improve (for a while) when 2.60 comes out...
