Apparently Net::DNS on Win32 is less than reliable. Accuracy is down but
reliability is up.

That's because the windows version of perl doesn't support alarms, so any DNS timeouts don't work, they just hang infinitely.


It's one of the more well known limitations of ActivePerl that has a negative impact on SA under windows.
