Hi all,
I am new with spamassassin.
I try to install it :
I got Mail-SpamAssassin-2.55.tar.gz
I untared it
I jumped to the path Mail-SpamAssassin-2.55
I checked INSTALL file
I launched perl Makefile.PL
$ perl Makefile.PL
Checking if your kit is complete...
Looks good
Warning: I could not locate your pod2man program. Please make sure,
your pod2man program is in your PATH before you execute 'make'
Writing Makefile for Mail::SpamAssassin
$
Ok I checked pod2man is in /usr/bin/ (that s weird to not find it there)
and then :
$ make
Makefile:92: *** missing separator. Stop.
$ head -92 Makefile | tail -1
installman1
$
I checked the generated Makefile and I can see big mess with simplequotes
char.
I use Perl 5.8 on a linux 2.4 box
Is there a known bug ?
