I agree with you Dave - actually I almost put a similar
suggestion in my first response, but then I decided that
Steve's is probably a procmail newbie, so I decided to keep
instructions simple but also explain what each line is doing
- I assume he will catch on himself relatively quickly.
(Only a few months ago I was a procmail newbie myself, and
at least for me, I found it easier to start out slowly; once
I understood what all of those *!.\-type symbols meant and
what each line did, I found it a lot easier to write my own
recipes).

If the only time this problem arises for him is
with email forwarded from his wife, he could choose to
filter on anything unique to her forwarded email headers
(sender ID, IP, etc.), rather than the SA tag as well.
