That should in general be sufficient, however it could be over-ridden by another required_hits in a user_prefs file, or it could be ignored due to a typo.


Try running spamassassin --lint and make sure no lines are ignored.


If none are ignored, check for ~/.spamassassin/user_prefs and see if it has a required_hits statement in it.
