Personally I use Clamav, and it works like a charm.

Vexira Antivirus for Mail Servers http://www.centralcommand.com. Their prices are far far lower than say those of Mcafee or Norton and their product integrates in a way that was convenient for me. It runs as a separate daemon accepting mail on a port and then will pass it on to your actual sendmail binary or to an smtp port. If you don't want it running directly on port 25 you could do what I have and run a relaying queue on 25 that passes it to vexira which then passes it to my actual mail queue. As far as ease of packaging into a (S)RPM it would be extremely simple as there are minimal binaries that go in set locations. I use FreeBSD myself so I haven't done it but my own package took less than 5 minutes to throw together.
