I think it has something to do with the rbl timing out. I have MessageWall checking against 8 different DNS-based blacklist IP check servers, 3 different DNS-based blacklist source address domain check servers before it gets to SA and that process happens in a flash. Since we have MW doing the heavy lifting, there is no need for SA to do it for us.
