Simple enough. Set up the spamd daemon on a separate server with -A <IP to allow 
access from> and -i <IP to listen on> parameters to allow remote connections. Then on 
the MTA servers, call spamc with -d spamdserver. Don't know the details on integrating 
spamc with Exim, but there must be info on it somewhere.

If you need SSL, just make sure you compile spamassassin on all hosts with ssl 
enabled. Can't remember if it is default or not... you will then need to use the --ssl 
paramaters and specify certificates etc. I haven't used SSL myself so I can't give you 
the details on it. But I'm sure there's plenty of info on how to enable and configure 
SSL on google...
