A colleague of mine with an identically configured system reported the same thing, but of course I don't know if this issue is peculiar to our systems. The OTHER thing that gives me a consistent Out of Memory error are emails with very large attachments. Because of my systems' limitations, I have SA configured as follows: * < 30000 |/usr/local/bin/spamassassin -a with a POST - SA procmail recipe designed to scan mail that has been missed by SA and catch at least some of the spam that had escaped previously because of the overload on system memory. There is no magic as to what is the size of emails that should be allowed through -- I just reviewed system logs to determine what the break-point seemed to be for my system. -Abigail ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email sponsored by: Free pre-built ASP.NET sites including Data Reports, E-commerce, Portals, and Forums are available now.
