no, check the path, is it "/etc/mail/bayes" in your local.cf? You actually may want it to write to /etc/mail/spamassassin/bayes/bayes_toks" etc. which requires a path of "/etc/mail/spamassassin/bayes/bayes" in the local.cf. Make sure spamd/sa can write to it!
