You have 2.53 installed and are trying to upgrade. If you change perl- or spamassassin- seperately, it'll complain. So do both at once. ie: rpm -Uvh perl-Mail-SpamAssassin-2.55-1.i386.rpm spamassassin-2.55-1.i386.rpm That'll take care of the dependencies. If you installed tools, put that on the same commandline (although I'm going to suspect you don't need the tools so you could just "rpm -e" that...)
