People,

Software: SA 2.60-CVS
        Postfix 2.0.12 with amavisd-new - march last.
        - but the SA version over and above 2.50 is not so important.

There are a number of SA RBL and RHBL checks. I use them to great advantage. My 2.60-CVS rules are in 20_dnsbl_tests.cf.

Remember "Postfix" above? Could just has well have been Exim 4.20, "my other Alfa Romeo." The thing about these two MTAs is, that RBL checks are "all or nothing." If one succeeds, mail is immediately refused. Whereas SA distributes points for all the included RBLs, based on the efficiency of each. Which is a *much* better idea.

So I'd rather use SA to add two other RBL/RHBLs in local.cf (I can already easily do it in Postfix/Exim):

blackholes.easynet.nl (was Wirehub, Rotterdam)
ipwhois.rfc-ignorant.org

and assign arbitrary points to them. I could experiment and finally find out how. But perhaps someone here has already added custom RBLs and could give me a pointer?

Best,

Tony
