Hi,

Thanks for the suggestions so far. I do indeed already use the
bayes_ignore_header config option to filter out various X-* headers that
we add for internal use.

I have the same problem as Louis, but a little bit less narrow-downable.
We have users accessing their mail with many many MUAs. So, it is nigh
impossible to filter all the headers. What I really need is a way of
using sa-learn that only *includes* headers that I tell it to rather than
excluding. I know this may be a daft question but I am presuming that the
Bayes stuff already ignores local address parts of the messages. What I
mean is that our mail server masquerades as a handful of different names
and presumably the Bayes engine will not think:

"Hmm. Lots of this spam contains @local.mailserver.com. I'll
give weight to messages with that in."

An obvious exclusion I know but I just wanted to make sure as there is no
way of telling SpamAssassin the local-host-names (sendmail style). Could
a --please-ignore-all-the-lovely-headers-except-the-ones-I-tell-you switch
possibly be added to SpamAssassin?

Thanks again for all your time.

Adam Bowen
