Probably slightly offtopic, but it looks like spam became a cultural
phenomenon. People are making up _fake_spam_ nowadays.
Don't believe it? Here's an example:

First read this article on a popular news/blog site:

http://www.kuro5hin.org/story/2003/6/9/113259/2515

Then here's the fake spam built upon it:

http://www.kuro5hin.org/comments/2003/6/9/113259/2515/5#5

There is also an interesting comment to it (same URL, scroll past the
"fake spam") written by a guy nicknamed "marcos" which claims to give
some insight into the Nigerian scams.
