Win2K OE6
I just can't get it running.

In the 'host map'I added
110 = pop.hccnet.nl:110

and for the 'Incoming Mail (POP3)' In entered 127.0.0.1
and for 'Incomming Mail | Account Name' In entered 'My.name:pop.hccnet.nl'

What happens is that it first takes about 10 seconds before a dialog appears that
requires me to logon to the server containing the entered account name as 'User name'
and the (hidden by asterisks) password. After I change the 'User name' into 'My.name'
The number of message available on the server are obtained and an attempt is being
made to download them. But the following messages appear :

There was a problem logging onto your mail server. Your Password was rejected.
Account: 'MyAccount', Server: '127.0.0.1', Protocol: POP3, Server Response: '-ERR
Password supplied for "my.name:pop.hccnet.nl" is incorrect.', Port: 110,
Secure(SSL): No, Server Error: 0x800CCC90, Error Number: 0x800CCC92

The server responded with an error. Account: 'MyAccount', Server: '127.0.0.1',
Protocol: POP3, Server Response: '-ERR Not supported by proxy', Port: 110,
Secure(SSL): No, Server Error: 0x800CCC90, Error Number: 0x800CCC90

If I now look at 'Incomming Mail | Account Name' I see it has been changed into
'My.name'

So what do I do wrong? Why doesn't it work and how can I solve it?
