Hi Everyone, I had messages that if they were over a certain size they were getting delayed in the qmail local queue for days on end. I then read a post from someone saying that spamassassin was the cause because it was having trouble scanning large messages. They suggested lowering the max size that spamc would scan. I removed the spamassassin scan completely and everything went back to normal. I then modified my call of spamc to include a smaller max size of 50k (rather then the default of 250k) to fix this apparent problem. What happened then is that MORE messages got delayed than before - I assume because spamassassin or qmail delays the message becasue it is over the max size which is now lower than the default. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to get this not to happen? I'm not sure if this is a qmail or a spamassassin question but because with spamassassin turned off things are okay delivery wise - I would suspect I will find the answer on the spamassassin discussion group - hopefully.
Thanks, PS, I stopped receiving the SATALK mailing list mails after I moved us to spamassassin the first time. I've since removed spamassassin but I still don't receive them. Was I removed from some list because my SPAM message started bouncing to the SATalk server - I suspect so. How do I get them sending to me again?
