IIRC, it doesn't take much to get a low-traffic site I'm not a big fan of bl.spamcop.net, but lately they seem to have magically gained the ability to manually delist falsely listed sites. We had some dolt report a single email list confirmation message as spam 5 times and that was enough to trigger one of our servers to get on the list. Unfortunately, they still have no way to remove false reports from their system, nor flag them as having been refuted. This leaves our potential customers who do due diligence without knowledge that we are being responsive to false complaints. BA> Dunno. Most popular DNSBLs are popular because their listings are BA> consistent with their mission statements. Unfortunately, many people just don't know the mission statement of some of the popular DNSBLs, nor what some of those missions actually mean. Like you, I only use the automated technical-criteria BLs plus the SBL list. Actually, currently I only use list.dsbl.org and sbl.spamhaus.org since adding more lists only results in a bunch of more DNS lookups for very little gain. -- =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Vivek Khera, Ph.D. Khera Communications, Inc.
