I look for posting threads and your answer must have been out of thread.
Don't know if it's my MUA - Ximian's Evolution 1.2.4 - that does this,
or people (on purpose, to get their posting "noticed".)

Evo puts Justin Mason's postings to this list, just to give one example,
as hardly ever being threaded.

Possibly. I don't know what you mean by the above;) For me, 3rd and 4th
are consecutive. There's no such thing as 3 1/2-th, 3 1/3-th etc.
