Not getting flamey, but if you make a statement like "restart this major
service which isn't involved with the service you're trying to fix",
it would have been good to at least mention why you suggested restarting
the NFS daemons.

I just happen to remember seeing something about rpc-something using port
783 if it's run before spamd, but for people who didn't see that thread,
they'd wonder why NFS came up.
