As I recall, it's some error with certain versions of Sys::Syslog.  On my
mail server I saw that error (I use spampd to interface with postfix)
and had to modify spampd to connect to the port (inet instead of unix
for the syslog setup) instead of the socket since I couldn't upgrade
the Sys::Syslog installation.

Not sure if you're seeing the same thing, but ... fyi. :)
