I've been looking at various stats from my SpamAssassin system to try
and decide how best to make it better, one of the things I wanted to do
was reduce the level at which the system quarantines email so I thought
I would look at how the scores for email were distributed and this is
what I got:

I'm no statistician, but what it looks like to me is that the scores are
tending toward the two extremes:

Month  0-8  Total 0-8 as % of Total
March 36728 84544    43%
April 31773 89368    36%
May   13510 98598    14%

I am making the supposition that this is due to the bayesian system
working well. The only other factor is my custom rules that push things
above my quarantine level (currently 8), but I see a bigger trend in
emails being given a lower than 0 score.

I am running 2.53 with the other rules that give large negative scores
set to zero.

Anyway I hope that is of interest to someone, I'd welcome any
alternative explanations.
