I've heard of 2 milter options for spamassassin. MIMEDefang (which i use)
and spamass-milter (which i've never used, nor know anything about)
either should work on your system provided that you have a working version
of perl installed.
Some of the Pros to MIMEDefang are that it gives you A LOT of control within
the milter api environment to make calls to virus scanners, check for
dangerous file extensions, etc. the Cons include having to know a bit about
perl programming in order to setup your filter in a manner that's going to
work for you. (i'm sure you could just use the sample filter and have it do
the basics out the gate)
again, i know nothing about spamass-milter, so hopefully someone who has
experience with it can provide you with more information.
