Subject: Re: [SAtalk] Auto-whitelist addresses

I do not think the AWL entries can contain wild-cards, they actually store
the IP address of the mailserver, this is to make it slightly harder to
spoof addresses which are likely AWL'ed.

Typical auto-whitelist entries are of the format:

[EMAIL PROTECTED]:208.39.*.*

If you really want to statically whitelist an address, it's really much
better to NOT use the auto-whitelist to do it. Add a whitelist_from_rcvd to
your local.cf or user_prefs.

The add to black/whitelist stuff is really more to push individual AWL
entries around in a direction you want to correct anomalies, it's not
intended to be a replacement for static entries. (ie: if your friend sends
you an email that scores very high, you can use the add to whitelist to
correct his average score down).
