I'm using spamassassin directly from procmail, and the version is identical, but I'm not seeing that behavior: Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii X-Spam-Status: No, hits=0.0 required=6.0 tests=none version=2.50 X-Spam-Level: X-Spam-Checker-Version: SpamAssassin 2.50 (1.173-2003-02-20-exp) I know that doesn't solve your problem, but I hope it helps narrow things down.
