If you have a Linux firewall between your Exchange server and the
Internet, you could run SA on it.

That's what I do with my GroupWise system.  I'd be surprised if
Exchange didn't have some kind of 3rd party hooks for virus scanning
which should work just as well for spam.

I got spamassassin to run on Windows and by run I mean it works when I
manually do tests.  What I want to do is have *something* receive all
incoming email, pass it to spamassassin, and then pass it back to
Exchange
to be delivered to the proper mailbox.  I want to avoid setting up
another
machine to act as a gateway.  Anyone have any idea what the *something*
is
that could do that?
