Indeed.. that is a painful score adjustment.

Sad thing is, I'm sure there's systems out there running 2.31, as outdated as it is.. There's still a lot of "bug" reports citing versions even back in to the 2.2x series.

i.e. on 1/14/03 there was a thread "Spam got through generating a negative score" which citied that SpamAssassin 2.20 failed to tag a message..

Doesn't help to fix bugs if admins are too foolish to update on a regular basis. (That said, I'm not running 2.50 in production, but I'm holding off because it has fatal problems running under MailScanner still).
