Use "formail -s < mboxfile | spamc -f >> newmbox" (untested) > Questions 2. > Any utility that will let you delete messages system wide that are already > on the system. Consider this scenario, I get spammed, and my spamshield log > program tells me after the fact, that I have received 80 messages from > allnet.com or emazing.com. Is their a method that will let me wipe the > messages that are already on the system from user's mailboxes? Don't try to alter mailboxes of other users. It's pretty ugly. Also, if you delete a mail from their mbox while they're reading their mail, the program accessing the mbox could get _really_ confused. If you use AWLs it can have a very similar effect to the one desired. Example: I'm on a site-internal mailing list. There are 5 users on there. If we get spam from one address, the scores of subsequently selivered mails (user 1 to user 5)get higer and higher. Works analogous with ham. Also, please don't just hit reply to post a new message to this list - the references are not correct. If you start a new topic, please don't include quoted text from a different mail.
