Hello, people, I've just switched from SA 2.43 to 2.5, and I must say that performance has certainly increased, bayesian filter has been trained with almost 3000 ham mails and 200 spams, no false positives (or negatives) at all (I haven't still suffered the attack of Nigerian mutations, almost always had to fight Korean spammers, and a simple rule has taken them off the game), all of this on each one of three different servers, but there's only a little black spot in my (almost) untainted setup:
on the last server, the whitelisting doesn't work, same happens with Bayes DB. When I run check_bayes_db, I get the error that I used as Subject of this mail. But I used a similar setup for the three servers, spamc-spamd, running through procmail, system-wide setup, spamd running options:
-d -c -a -x -u spamd, ownership of /var/spool/spamassassin granted to spamd:root, Perl 5.8.0, RedHat 7.1 XFS Filesystem.
sa-learn seems to work, it says that it has learned from the message dirs I've pointed it to, but, as I said before, when I run check_bayes_db, I get

Cannot open file /root/.spamassassin/bayes_toks
0.000 0 0 0 non-token data: db format = on-the-fly probs, expiry, scan-counting
0.000 0 0 0 non-token data: nspam
0.000 0 0 0 non-token data: nham
0.000 0 0 0 non-token data: ntokens
0.000 0 0 0 non-token data: oldest age
0.000 0 4 0 non-token data: current scan-count
0.000 0 0 0 non-token data: last expiry scan-count

And, if I run check_whitelist, I do only get:
10.9 (141.7/13) -- [EMAIL PROTECTED]

Again, permissions are granted recursivelly to spamd over /var/spool/spamassassin, as in the other two servers, but it doesn't seem to work on the third...

As soon as I get enough data as to perform some satistics checks, I promise to mail them, so U can see some feedback...
(Please, excuse my poor english, I've learned by mail, and the postmen were on a strike at that time...)

Thanks, you've done a great work,
