I often create a fake e-mail address (one which I can easily /dev/null.'


I recieved a spam referencing a .cjb.net site, and a valid return address. I CC'd the customer on my abuse complaint to .cjb, and his e-mail provider.

I accidentally left my sig on which included my cell phone (work) #.

I got a voicemail the next day (I should see if I have a way of archiving the voicemail to a WAV file), he essentially says he's not a spammer - he bought this list of names from someone who guraranteed him they were 'opt-in' people - people who wanted to see HIS e-mails.

Ummm.. Ok.

CJB.NET site now a smoking crater.
