No external requirements, it should basically work out of the box.
Changing your display lang might require locale files to be installed,
off the top of my head, I'm not sure.

By the way, while I have less familiarity with the locale stuff, I do
think you can list just about any locale although I'm not sure if it
matters much for additional locales that aren't enumerated in the actual
code.
