I hate to introduce myself into a list by bringing up a problem, but
I've search the net with no luck, and I thought that maybe this group
could either help me or point me in the right direction.
I'm running an Athlon 650 MHz server with 1GB RAM and Red Hat 6.2
(2.2.22 kernel, recently upgrade).
On Friday morning at approximately 6:00 a.m. Mountain Standard time,
SpamAssassin 2.43 (which has been running flawlessly since October 14)
suddenly started failing.
After much wrangling, server reboots, kernel upgrade (from 2.2.14 to
2.2.22), checking for intruders, etc., SpamAssassin started working
again. Then, this morning at approximately 6:00 a.m., it failed again.
I ran the included `spamassassin < sample-spam.txt > spam.out` against
time, and let it run until it failed. Here are the results:
$ time spamassassin < sample-spam.txt > spam.out
1.70user 0.08system 26:20.69elapsed 0%CPU (0avgtext+0avgdata 0maxresident)k
0inputs+0outputs (361major+3723minor)pagefaults 0swaps
I am completely at a loss.
Are there any tests that I can run on SA, or other information that
might be helpful?
Many thanks in advance,
Jody Harris
