I seem to have the same problem with a milter -> spamd solution which only waits ten seconds for spamd to respond. After adding a rbl-timeout of 5 seconds it seems to be gone. Shouldn't the debug switch be a bit more verbose about this? It's not really clear that "forged_rcvd_trail" contains the RBL checks, not to mention that I would expect it to show the RBLs queried (and what they responded) with a *debug*.
