[SAtalk] Mailbox parsing by spamassassin

Hi

I have a requirement in which i have a very big mailbox stored in the /var/log/mail which i want to scan for spams through spamassassin. I tried the man page of spamassassin and couldnt figure out any method by which spamassassin can scan the entire mailbox. I guess that it can scan a single mail at a time. But my requiremnt is different or otherwise i will have to write some utility that parses the mailbox and separates all the mails and then pass them thru spamassassin.(Any utility is available that does that allready??)
Any pointers???
