Well the idea came from the Linux Journal article a while back. It was
designed specifically to build an anti-virus solution. I removed the
shell script that did the checking and wrote a perl replacement (my
glue).

It should be easy to plug back in a virus checker to the code.

Yes you still have the perl overhead with the glue script and SA, but
that is minimised by having the script running permanently and using
spamd.

Well I'd be happy to let anyone see the script and my notes. I had to do
some mods to smtpd because it was rather too zealous at blocking email.
One proviso is you don't laugh at my perl, I'm not very good at it :)
