I've made some pretty substantial changes to the code, and some more are coming. The intent was to get rid of the DELETE/INSERT SQL statements, to keep pref id's roughly the same. There's a preference initialization sequence, and some convenience functions for accessing/setting preferences. I'll refrain from discussing any more, but I sent jenglad /at/ enetis /dot/ net a note middle of last week, and have yet to hear a response...
