Hi *,

I hope this is not a FAQ. I was for a week or so in vacations, and in
the meantime, my mailbox got really full. When I fetched my mail, there
were more then 100 new mails. That is not so much, but the problem was
that my system began to swap like the hell. All RAM and SWAP were in
use. Response time was very very low. I looked with "top" what was
going on. CPU usage was at about 60%, but memory usage zu 110%. And
there was at least 30 instances of SA in memory, each one between 2 and
8 Mb Ram. So there was too many SA in use.

I'm using exim. I don't know if the problem is with SA (which allows so
many instances), or a MTA problem (which wants to send so many e-mails
localy at once, causing the problem).

What should I do?

Thanks

Claudio
