Most of the claims in the patent relate to client side bayesian stuff. That, combined with the fact that we're not using Bayesian equations, probably mitigates most of the worry.
However I'm *not* saying there's no issue, but I suspect we'd be better off worrying about spam, than worrying about Microsoft. And if they issue us with a cease and decist, it's likely we'll just decist (and post something to slashdot).
