I am using SpamAss through C-panel, which has only 2 options - enable and disable. I have 2 issues I am hoping someone can help with.
don't know what C-panel is.
1. There appears to be a bug where some NON-spam emails are split into multiple emails! The latter half of the email appears as a separate email with no date, subject, from, to, etc. It happens to about 1 out of every 50 emails I get. Is this a known SpamAss issue?
sounds like "Message Fragmentation and Reassembly" (RFC2046, section 5.2.2.1). Had been mentioned on this list. Read http://online.securityfocus.com/archive/1/291514/2002-09-09/2002-09-15/0 SpamAssassin does not split mails.
2. I would like to change the "spam threshold", but do not have this option with the C-panel implementation. Is there a way to set this up without bugging my host admin? My host admin does not support SpamAss.
could be done in ~/.spamassassin/user_prefs man Mail::SpamAssassin::Conf
