Configuration:
RH 6.0
SA 2.41
Razor 2.14
We just tightened up our firewall and noticed the following when trying to report spams to razor:
razor2 report failed: Bad file descriptor IO::Socket::INET: Connection timed out ...propagated at /usr/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.005/Mail/SpamAssassin/Reporter.pm line 82.
So I ran sa with the debug switch and noticed that it attempts to use 2703:
Nov 09 08:09:46.106287 report[4044]: [ 5] server discovery overdue by 1078368 seconds
Nov 09 08:09:46.106644 report[4044]: [ 8] already have 1 discovery servers
Nov 09 08:09:46.107302 report[4044]: [ 8] Checking with Razor Discovery Server 216.52.13.90
Nov 09 08:09:46.107673 report[4044]: [ 6] No proper port specified, using 2703
Nov 09 08:09:46.107926 report[4044]: [ 5] Connecting to 216.52.13.90 ...
debug: razor2 report timed out after 10 secs.
Is there a way to configure it to use a specific port (like 8080) or do I need to open 2703 for the reporting?
TIA for any help on this...
