With Postfix on RedHat 7.2 I started with:

too, but then did it my own way with SpamAssassin and then Anomy
Sanitizer, with my own config file, called from Courier Maildrop, which
is my local delivery agent, whereas most people use procmail. This
differs from the Advosys approach of running SpamAssassin and Anomy
Sanitizer from Postfix's smtp command, which affects ingoing and
outgoing mail, unless you run two instances of Postfix, one without
these, just for outgoing, which makes sense for many people.

All the details are here:

I am very happy indeed with this arrangement. There are a few false
positives and negatives with spam, of course, without using any external
black lists etc. All the 15 or so viruses I get a day are successfully
identified and greatly shortened, and the Maildrop filtering puts them
in a virus pit, leaving them also in the Inbox, tagged for deletion and
with a distinctive subject header. SpamAssassin runs first, and its
Maildrop filtering does the same thing, but to a spam pit mailbox.

Thanks to the SpamAssassin Crew!!
