Sorry, I am not sure why the body of my last post didn't show, so I am repeating this.....

When I use '| spamc' or '| spamassassin' in my ~/.procmailrc file,  none of the spams are being tagged by SpamAssassin and they all land up in my Inbox. However when I use '| spamassassin -P', things work great and spams show up in 'spam' folder as they are supposed to.

I am running RH 8.0 with the default SA (version 2.31)  that it came with. 'spamd' is started as a service during boot.

I was told using 'spamc' is the way to go as it is light on processing and I would prefer to invoke SA that way. I am puzzled as to why it won't run that way. Its driving me crazy!

Any help will be greatly appreciated.
