Yes, this exists. Read that yesterday in README/man-page/what-so-ever-doc.

I'll put it this way: It would be fine on any machine which's main purpose
is not mail processing and spam checking such as a workstation or maybe a
gateway box that has other more important tasks to do as well. (Not
everyone can install SA on a seperate box)
